Hello my friends!
My computer connected at last to the internet today.

And I’m going to study English at school from tomorrow.

I’m leaving for DC with my husband tomorrow.

National sport of Japan
I watched Grand Sumo Tournament at the Kokugikan in Ryogoku with my family last month.
Sumo is national sport of Japan, but we went to watch it for the first time.
I planned that for my parents as celebration of 60th birthday, because they loves Sumo.
The sumo was very exciting, and we enjoyed that very much.
Recently, the yokozuna Asashoryu of sumo wrestler get a lot of publicity about the bout fixing allegation in the media.
But he was really strong, so I think that he isn’t in on the bout fixing.
Never mind! (^0^)/

Oolong tea cookie
My mother bought “oolong tea cookie” in Shanghai.
The cookie is sweetish and flavored with a hint of oolong tea.
It’s pretty good!

My friend’s group ”Komaez” had a good-bye party for me last night.
“Yakitori Didoriya” in Kanda.
Foods tasted good!
Yakitori in saying Japanese is grilled chicken.
It’s my favorite food.
I got a gift from my friend!!

Corporative housing
I went to lunch at Thai food restaurant “Geuchai” with May yesterday.
Foods are very hot like real Thai food.
And then, I visited old co-worker’s house.
Her house is corporative housing in the city.
It’s very nice, because it was designed to her family’s own liking.
Her family is enjoying urban life!

Kind hearts
I won the lottery of New Year's greeting card this year.
What a second prize!
It is won only four per ten thousand.
The prize is a “local specialty”.
Yes! I was so glad to win it with my husband.
We selected "dried noodles of Nagoya city" for eating in DC.
But,,,I lost the card.
However I found it, I couldn’t find it.
I was crushed…
One day, suddenly a letter arrived in my house from a stranger.
There were only name and no contact address on it.
I opened it...
What a winning card!
I’m lucky!!!
I felt that a kind person found the card in station and mailed it.
I’m profoundly grateful for a kind person.
Thank you for your kind hearts!!

Lunch party
I had a lunch party with my friends from high school today in the French restaurant “Brasserie Lecrin”
We were full satisfaction from the lunch course”￥2,700”.
Although a wine price is low, it’s nice fragrance and very delicious.
After the lunch, we had a glass of wine in the cafe of the same building.
Our talking was endless!
My dear friend gave me a charm="Omamori” in saying Japanese.

On Saturday, I visited my friend from high school.

I went out of my house at 10:30, and I went to a ward office for submitting moving-out notification.
And then, I went to the lunch with old co-workers.

The pasta cooking until al dente is delicious!
I have enjoyed the lunch very much.
And then, I went to get the international driving permit,
and I went to a beauty shop.

And then, I attended the good-bye and my birthday party in Ebisu.
Although my birthday is next month, my friends from college days had the party, because I lived in DC next month.
I’m moved!

On Tuesday, I went to the US Embassy with my husband for the visa application.
Until going, I had been nervous.
After the dinner, we went to the counter bar of the first floor.
“Time flies when you are having fun.”
