The trip of a cable car -San Francisco-

At last, I played golf course in the U.S for the first time! It was fine weather, so I felt very comfortable, and also I had fun because though I hadn’t played it for a while, I was able to play golf better than I expected.^0^*)
After playing golf, I was still excited, so I went to a driving range to practice. However I was very tired after that...
I won’t practice on the day I played golf course. --;)

By the way, I post some pictures below about the sightseeing of a cable car, which my husband & I rode in San Francisco.

This is a cable car, which is popular among tourists.

In the morning, a lot of people who stand in line to ride a cable car.
A man in a poster of “GAP” behind line is the Japanese actor “Ken Watanabe”.
I saw the Japanese actor in the U.S for the first time!
That's great!!

It runs on the heart of town.

After we went through this view, we arrived at Fisherman’s Wharf.

A lot of sea lions were resting on San Francisco Bay.

It’s cute! It seems like a child.

We got on a boat and went on the sea cruise.

We went through under the famous “Golden Gate Bridge”.

After the cruise, we had lunch at “Crab House”.

This is a specialty “DungenessKiller Crab”.
The sauce is garlic oil. That's yummy!!
And also, Napa wine goes with it!

After lunch, we took a cable car again.
“Chinatown”

Then, we strayed from the route.
“Japantown”
Wow! The signs are written in Japanese by “Katakana”.
It's nice!

My image of this town is “Kanazawa” in Japan.
Don’t you think so?

Take a break☆

The left is local beer ” Anchor Steam".
It’s a little bitter taste, so I love it!

-Anchor Steam Beer-

Then, we rode a cable car again.
You can stand on side step of a cable car! That’s breezy!!

In the evening, I wanted to eat sushi, so we went to the Japanese restaurant ”Sushi Boat” near Union Square.

The Japanese cook was making sushi, and that was delicious!
And also, when I ate the Japanese chowder, I missed my country!!

We had fun so much all day! It was the first time for me to ride the cable car like this, and this is one of my favorite things now!!

A World Heritage -Yosemite National Park-

Last week, I didn't have much time to write a blog. After I last posted a blog, I invited my American friend to lunch, and I went to a library to attend a conversation club. In addition, I drove to Cumberland with my husband, and we practiced golf almost everyday, bla bla bla.
Anyway, I can finally write a blog today. So I will write about Yosemite National Park where I went during San Francisco trip.

My husband and I went to the park by rented a car.
It took about 3 and a half hours from San Francisco.
At last, we reached there and went through the gate.
Then…

Wow! What a wonderful nature!!

The spring water is very clear and a little bit cold.

Its area is about 3,000 square kilometers, and also it seems that is 1.5 times as large as Tokyo!
We drove around the park. ^^)

Many tourists were seeing “Half Dome” which is symbol of Yosemite at “Glacier Point”.

Zoom in“Half Dome”!

In the summer months, almost all of water falls have no water, but we was able to see a water fall called “Bridalveil Fall” which is narrow and mild current.
Can you see that?

Look! Two squirrels kiss!
Aren’t they cute!?

On the way back to San Francisco, we stopped by such a beautiful lake.

In Yosemite, we saw a lot of amazing views, and we heard many kinds of nature sounds, and also we smelled the fresh air, then we got negative ions.

we enjoyed great outdoors!

Seattle Mariners

In the last day in Seattle, I went to a baseball game, which was Seattle Mariners vs. Los Angeles Angels in Safeco Field.

The stadium was packed to capacity because this game is very important for getting the pennant.
Anyway, I was surprised that “Ichiro” is very popular!
Many spectators wore T-shirts printed his name & uniform number on the back.
I was very glad to see those!

Unfortunately, his team was defeated.
However, I was very excited and had fun so much!!
(I was concentrated on this game, so I wasn’t able to take a lot of pictures.・・;)

Of course!
I cheered for Mariners with this T-shirt.^^)/

"Soaring skyscrapers in Downtown"

Can you see “Elliott Bay” in the back?

This luxury liner departs for Alaska.
I wanna board it!

There are a lot of modern buildings.

Wow!! This artistic building is a library!

"Experience Music Project" I saw from Space Needle.

Our hero “ Ichiro”!!

Of course! I visited the first Starbucks☆

Why?? Various pigs are everywhere in this city.
Are these cute or what? ・・;)

Oh my goodness!
There is a park like Japan.

Start of my happy trip in Seattle

In late August, my husband and I took a trip to Seattle & San Francisco. We visited there for the first time, so that was exciting!
In Seattle, we stayed in the house of my friend’s aunt. My friend’s aunt is from Japan, but she is American now.She has lived in Seattle about 40 years, and also she is active woman who owns a company. Anyway she is very generous, so we really treated warmly!

She gave us a guided tour of sight spots.
“Pike Place Market” is one of those.

The place was very crowded with tourists.

This shop is “Pike Place fish” which is famous for throwing fish.

This is a bouquet of flowers, which she bought in this market.
It's cute, isn't it?

After sightseeing, she invited us into her home.

There are “Safeco Field” & “Seahawks Stadium” with a sweep of the eye!
That’s awesome view!!

Flowers she bought were decorated prettily.

The dinner of her treat.
It’s wonderful!

This is a crab she bought at the “Pike Place fish”.
It’s like king crab we have eaten in Japan.
What a yummy taste!

After dinner, we drank at home bar while seeing the night view.
That’s amazing!!

We talked about our business, pleasure, and life until midnight!
